cleancult & Puerto Rico
Following the January earthquakes in Puerto Rico, many people are still not able to return to their homes, workplaces, or school. Last Friday, and with the help from everyone at cleancult, we were finally able to bring help to those in need at the southern part of the island.
Sector Tres palos, Ponce.
We were greeted by over 100 members of this community and surprised 17 families with groceries, cold treats and warm smiles. We also made a $500 dollar cash donation for specific families with special needs and donated 3 family tents and 3 mattresses.
Alturas del Cafetal, Yauco.
This community in Yauco was at the epicenter of back-to-back earthquakes last month. There are over 4,000 people displaced by the quakes that cant return to a “safe” home and have opted to sleep outside and set camp on communal grounds.
We left in the community plastic bins, battery operated fans, pillows and drinking water.
